Loves the setting on the river! Had a beautiful sunset and enjoyed seeing and talking with folks who are out to watch it! This is a ‘50s motel with cute, very clean rooms and great outdoor seating to watch the sunset or play games!!

The outside office area is very unappealing, not well maintained. ceiling tiles ready to fall off the ceilings. smelled musty and mildewy. there were used towels from the people who used the room before us still hanging on the bathroom doors. The rooms need some attention...As bad as this report may sound I would stay there again because of the price and location. overlooks the river which was amazing and the staff were very friendly.

Older motel with a room with 3 queen beds. The outside looks a bit beaten up, but the inside was nice and the room was affordable. The view of the river was pleasant, even on a rainy day.

Was worried about our stay because price was right but relied on reviews... it was a great place to stay and right on Missouri River. Very clean and recently updated, I would highly recommend. We only stayed. 1 night and it was perfect. Theee is a sitting area to watch the boats.

Great value for the money. A bit dated, and exterior needs some maintenance but the room was clean and comfortable. Above all, a pleasant location right on the Missouri River, which was a nice break from hours on the interstate.

I thought we were checking into a hotel, not a motor lodge. Our first room was clean, but smelled so horribly of mildew we had to switch rooms. The second room was all they had left for two queen beds. The room still smelled of mildew, but not quite as bad. We had no choice but to take it because everyone was booked solid due to the holiday. There was no breakfast, like it stated. We did have a gorgeous view of the river, but we couldn't enjoy it because people were right outside our window sitting in the chairs that were provided by the property. I had a very hard time in the room because of the smell.

We chose this hotel based on good reviews and location. At first glance it looks old and in need of attention. The woman at check in was very nice. I asked if either upstairs or downstairs rooms had had better views she said no so we opted for downstairs. The room is very outdated and funky. Clean, yes, but very small. Very little space for one bag each let alone walking through the room. The bathroom is tiny with an old sink, only a small rickety shelf above the toilet. No towel bar to hang used or in use towels. No exhaust fan. The heater is old and didnt work,they did instruct us how to reset it to work, but it kept running all night with a bright green light illuminating the room. No view from the window in the room, just the unmaintained parking lot. The bathroom window looks onto the back of another building. A worker pulled in to an adjacent room in the early evening and blasted his Rap music for 15 or so minutes. We are on a month road trip and are NOT luxury hotel people at all. We like to give the local, family operated motels our business, but this was a sham. I’m having a hard time believing that the raving reviews are legitimate. I’m sure some people find this place sweet & charming, I just believe that reviews should be more honest so choices can be made according to personal preferences

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Parking was a little challenging but manageable. The property sits next to the Missouri River and management has tables and chairs set up outside so a person can enjoy the river. A great price and location.

Dated budget motel but clean, quiet and comfortable and at a good price point. Bathroom seemed updated and had a microwave and refrigerator. Very friendly staff/owner. Only issue was the HVAC system. It was lower 40 degrees overnight and the way the system is set up, you're supposed to keep it on the air-conditioning mode since if you change the mode to heat, it also switches it for 3 other rooms. It was chilly and we were offered another room with a different HVAC system but were tired from a long drive and had settled in, so we just turned off the system. The owner is continuing to make upgrades to the motel...

I wasn't going to leave a review, but I should for everyone's sake. We believe this place is a work in progress but some things should be taken care of. The pros: it was clean, hosts are very nice, including the four footed fur baby, could park right outside your door. Nice tile work in bathroom. Microwave and fridge in room. Right on Missouri River. Deadbolt and security chain on door, since it's an outside entrance. Room small but ok for 1 night. However, having the temperature of the air conditioner glowing brightly all night was a bummer. Would be nice to enclose lines from the AC all the way to the wall, not a good look. Heard the neighbors upstairs. Bed very soft, ok for some, probably. Holes in curtains. It is clear that this place needs an enormous amount of work. It would help immensely to get rid of the pile of mattresses outside. It just doesn't present well. I hope the owners can bring this property to a nice place. We need family owned businesses like this. We didn't want to push to Mitchell, so stopped here. Not many choices for eating. It is a small town.

Ah-ma-zing! From the very friendly staff (owners maybe?) To the room and cant forget the view of the river and bridge. I will definitely be staying here again once it gets a bit warmer. Highly recommend! So clean and comfy!

Service was excellent! This is NOT a new location but it is clean, comfortable, and cozy with a beautiful waterfront view. A very good place to stay.
