Our family (two adults and two school-age children) stayed for three nights in a suite on the third floor. There was a lot of space in the suite! The living room was very large and so were the separate bedrooms for parents and children! The bathroom was also good and spacious. Cleaning was done in a good and professional way. The air in the rooms was excellent. While we visited in summer, the weather was not very warm. For those visiting on a really hot day, we want to note that there is no air conditioning in the room and no possibility to regulate the flow or temperature of air coming to the room.
We had a suite in which one bedroom was facing the street below, and the other was at the back side of the building. The room in the back side was always very quiet, but those who slept in the room facing the street had sometimes difficulties in sleeping due to the sounds of people from the street or from the hotel itself, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. We stayed from Friday until Monday, perhaps weekdays would have been calmer. Light sleepers would probably prefer the back side room.
There is hardly any view as the hotel is located next to a street and amidst a few other buildings of a similar size. The location is such that it takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to the old town. There seemed to be a lack of restaurants very close to the hotel. We tried the hotel restaurant in two evenings, and it was of a very high quality.
