We stayed at this hotel for three nights before heading to Kyoto and Osaka, and then returned for an additional two nights after our trip. The room was extremely small, with barely enough space to open a suitcase. During our first stay, we thought the hotel was quite decent. However, our experience at Richmond Premier Kyoto set a much higher standard. In comparison, this hotel felt like a three-star at best.
The amenities were of lower quality, and the "happy hour" was underwhelming, with a limited selection of drinks. The only snacks provided were basic items like cheap crackers, small chocolates, and cheese wrapped in candy wrappers. We had been spoiled by the parfaits, variety of snacks, and extensive drink options at Richmond Premier.
If it’s your first time in Tokyo, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It’s a bit of a walk to the nearest subway station, and the underground paths are confusing and maze-like, which could be frustrating for newcomers. Once you’re familiar with the area, however, the location is actually quite convenient and within walking distance of several subway lines.
