Where do I begin with this place and the people that make it so special.
Desert Merzouga Villa- man, from the time we walked in till we left, there was not a moment where we felt like tourists. Youssef, the owner, the manager, the mastermind, the caretaker, the chef, the Archetect, the designer and the story teller behind this beautiful villa is soo generous, so humble and full of positivity that you can't help but pray that he succeeds in his adventures.
He has made this villa into a peaceful sanctuary within the desert for his foreign guests to enjoy some peace and quiet time.
He is so accommodating. And just goes out of his way to ensure his guests are happy and they feel at home. I remember in the afternoon when my tour members were resting, I went downstairs into the dining room and was catching up on some work. Youssef came to check on me. I told him I was a bit hungry. He told me to give him 5 minutes. And he made a nice fresh salad with yogurt. That was the most thoughtful thing he did and I truly enjoyed that avocado tomato salad.
He's put his entire heart (which is quite big) into building this place. If you notice carefully, he's paid attention to minute details from this warm scent you walk into when you enter to split ACs behind decor to names of his family members on each guest room door the picture of the king 😆 (I'm joking about this last one. Youssef, remember, he's always watching you).
In short, I highly recommend this place.
