Excellent location with all you need
The Family House Hotel is an excellent choise for a busy traveller/tourist who only needs a good place to sleep in the center of Rome. The neighborhood is not expensive, so the food etc. nearby are available at good price. Metro stations are near, but because of the central location, you can also simply just walk to all attractions.
We had a 2 person room, which included bathroom (shower+toilet), air conditioning, wifi, tv, doublebed and extra bed. The room was clean and there weren't any bugs. The room didn't got a safety locker, but you can give your valuables to the hotel owner's safety box in the lobby. They don't charge for this service. Breakfast was included to our reservation, but it was (italian style) just a cup of coffee and a bun/croissant. The breakfast was served in a cafeteria next door which for they give you a coupon in the lobby.
Only downside of the hotel was the pretty hard bed and pillows. For a healthy normal person that wouldn't be a problem, but if you happen to have problems with your back etc. I recommend to bring your own pillow with you. I stuffed the extra blankets under my sheet to make the bed more comfortable. I also recommend using ear plugs, because the noices from the street and the corridor are quite loud.
