We were travelling with family, two adults and a one year old on a little road trip in Milan-Padua (Milano-Padova) axel. We stayed one night in this hotel near Piacenza. Hotel has free parking in front of main doors and that is a good thing with heavy luggage.
Every hotel staff member we saw were a bit not-so-friendly. A bit grumpy and didn't try to help us. For example my wife tried to get hot water for our boys evening porridge (0,1 litres of hot water and grain flakes) but didn't get it. Even though the little bar was open and they have fully equipped kitchen there.
Hotel is located a bit too far from Piacenza city centre to walk there, about 4-5 km, but with a child it was ok to drive there, parking was cheap and very near centre.
Room was spacious enough for us and the queen-sized bed was easily big enough for whole family as we didn't use the baby cradle (there was one in the corridor for free use).
There was an electric touch-display mini control panel in the room with welcome message and some control to air conditioning. It gave us a bit shocker at midnight as it started flashing bright blue. Even our son woke and was scared, hotel night receptionist just said it's normal thing. Luckily I managed to put the thing back to sleep mode.
Breakfast was good and with big variety of things to eat. There was a automatic coffee machine with some options and kitchen staff was willing to make you some special coffees also.
