We had a wonderful stay at Danubius Health Spa Resort Heviz (Saturday - Monday). Very nice and polite staff at the reception. Received our rooms (standard) promptly. Top floor (7th) was a non-smoking floor. Gorgeous view over Lake Heviz and the valley.
All rooms have balconies. Room was very proper and well kept, spotless clean. Style wise late 80's/ early 90's. A large and very good / firm double bed. All guests receive a bath robe, towel for spa / pool area as well as a sheet. Remember to bring along your own slippers & swim suite for the spa!!!
Weekends Saturday-Sunday we understood there were no treatments available. We enjoyed floating around in the two large +32C & +36C treatment pools indoor. There is a slight sulphur smell to the water. There is also a regular heated indoor pool if you enjoy swimming. Several saunas & steam rooms inside.
Out doors there was a semi large outdoor pool, sun beds as well as a Finnish sauna.
Half board included. Can choose to eat buffet lunch or dinner. The food is good, but mediocre, aimed at the elderly public. Very little green stuff. All food on the heavy side.
Despite being among the younger ones at the health reasort (treatment resort) we enjoyed it very much. Especially the swims in the Lake Heviz, which was a lot of fun. Only some 300m downhill walk to the Lake Levitz main entrance. Could very well return for a longer brake.
