The Good:
-The Hotel is very centrally located, and the price and quality ratio of the breafkast was also good, the room furnishing was good with good bed and so forth.
The average:
Few small nitpicks, but nothing to ruin the hotel experience.
- The building is worn down, with loose floor panels and/or downright missing pieces here and there, for example in the staircase. Reasonable amount of outside noise, and I could hear nearby doors opening and closing outside of the hotel room. However it is not too loud, nothing that could not be fixed with good earplugs, as I did.
- The daily housekeeping was well done and cleaned, but there was some long term dirt accumulated, like the floorboards were visibly blackened by the dirt. However this kind of long gathering dirt would need more time to clean than what the daily housekeeping would have time to.
-The check-in process was interrupted by the receptionist having to take a phone call mid process. Personally I would never pick-up a phone if I had unfinished business going on with a present guest. As far as I know, my gold level hotels.com membership had not been acknowledged, I came back down to reception, brought it up by myself, at which point a small complimentary bottle of sparkling wine was brought to the room. The hotel being part of the hotels.com "vip access" program was one of the reasons I chose it for.
The Bad:
Nothing
