We have stayed at this resort no less than six times, and it's with regret that I say this will likely be our last visit. While the rooms are spacious, Iâm honestly puzzled by the recent renovations. The decision to remove the private bathrooms and move the bathtub to the center of the room has created significant privacy issues. For families traveling together, sharing a space with limited privacyâespecially when it comes to showeringâcan be quite challenging.
Unfortunately, the dining experience didnât meet expectations either. The food lacked flavor, and the portion sizes were disappointingly small. Additionally, the options were few and not very kid-friendly. We managed to secure a reservation at the Ă la carte restaurant, but despite having an 8:00 PM booking, we waited over an hour to be seated and ultimately opted to eat at the buffet instead.
There were also several instances where basic items, like chicken, mango, and beer, were unavailable. To make matters worse, we experienced a persistent sewer smell for two days. While I understand such issues can happen, the odor permeated our room, leaving our clothes with an unpleasant stench.
Lastly, although weâre aware of the resortâs plans to expand with a new addition, it seems the current facilities still need some attention and improvement before any further development. Weâve loved this resort in the past, but it no longer offers the same "all-inclusive" experience it once did.
