Might as well be a roadside motel
What a disappointing stay. Some La Quinta hotels are nice, some are not, hit or miss. This one is on the low end. Although recently "renovated" the rooms feel old and dingy. The sofa "bed" described on the site is not a "bed" at all, just a couch cushion that pops up to make the sofa slightly bigger.
Breakfast was below average. Although they provide eggs and sausage in addition to the typical cereal and waffle station, one bite of the still frozen in the middle eggs was enough to make me nauseous.
The service was not at all friendly. Despite one employee being friendly most of my interactions with the female employees at the front desk were not positive. Despite an overly friendly attitude on my part they were short, wouldn't give eye contact and after I said "thank you for your help, have a great night." they didn't even acknowledge the pleasantry, just ignored me. It was rude.
Would have rated it 2 stars but it was slightly better than a roadside motel.
