The hotel is very well situated; about a 7 minute walk from the railway station on the one side and straight into the district including all the tourist sights on the other.
Our room was enormous - described as a "traditional" room - which had a marble floor and very high painted ceiling, a huge bed, 2 sofas and a fridge. However, we understand that some rooms are much smaller so it's worth checking what you are booking. The only criticism of the room is that no kettle or tea & coffee facilities were provided, which seems very unusual these days, but they did provide a kettle on request and we were able to get our supplies from the CoOp store only 1 minute away.
The breakfast buffet only offers cold food but it is plentiful and has a wide choice and is available from 7:00 - 10:30am. A nice touch is the bowls of sweets and chocolates around the reception / lounge area which provided a welcome treat on return from a day's activities.
The staff at Reception and at Breakfast were friendly and welcoming.
All in all, a very nice hotel and recommended.
