BELAIR IS NOT A FIVE-STAR HOTEL AT ALL !!!
A demanding customer comes to this hotel only once!! In my opinion "Luxury Hotel" is a REAL JOKE.
1. Breakfast: Very modest selection of dishes and very ascetical setting, not even tablecloths available on the service tables. No serviettes, but tissue-like papers. Buttons of butter and processed cheese floated in glass bowls in cold water.
2. Room: In desperate need of renovation and very modest. No complimentary water. Drinking glasses 1 per person (water, wine and prosecco from the same glass) and the glass was changed to a clean every other day. We didn't get the hair conditioner and body lotion until the day before we left. No disposable hand towels.
3. The swimming pool was under renovation and customers were directed to the neighboring hotel. At breakfast on the first two days we listened to the noise of the renovation of the swimming pool below the terrace.
4. Only awful public beach. The trail going down the slope to the beach was in poor condition. No signs when entering the beach area. The public beach which seemed messy and very unpleasant.
5. Not a 5 star bar. There were a few bottles behind the small and modest bar counter. No live music available.
6. Ignorant staff.
7. Etc, etc..!!!
I WAS SHOCKED BY THE LOW STANDARD OF THE
HOTEL. Accustomed to five stars, this hotel is a maximum of three stars! In a review on the 13th of June, the customer says that he noticed bedbugs. I am really hoping we didn't bring them home from this awful hotel!!!
