Worst customer service experience ever
It would help if I was able to actually check into the hotel, I booked the room without realizing there was no pool, and they wouldn't allow me to cancel despite calling almost immediately after booking, and having not checked in. After they refused I arrived to check in with no one to be found at the front counter. There was a sign stating they would be returning, and if something was needed to call a certain extension after ringing the bell calling the extension 10 times and waiting about 15 minutes, I finally called hotels.com and demanded refund as I was not even able to check into the room. Still haven't received a refund, never did get anybody even trying to contact me, even after calling and complaining that nobody was there to check me in. I literally my first ever bad experience in any hotel in my life, and believe me I've stayed in some real dumps traveling for work ...like 1 star dumps. And while those facilities and most likely the area in town of which they are located was complete crap, they still rank higher than an expensive hotel with zero employees working.
