We turned up to be told that our room had been given to someone else due to valentines being busy (we were there for valentines ourselves so was no excuse), despite arriving the day of our booking. We were told the lady on reception the next day would be informed in order to change us to our actual room, however she had no idea. We eventually got put in the room we had paid for, but we’re not compensated with anything at all in the slightest, instead being expected to just deal with the hotel not giving us what we paid for and to put up with their errors despite not getting what we had already paid full price for.
Was a huge shame because the rest of the hotel was great and were helpful with storing our bags inbetween checkout and flight home for us in a secure room.
A lack of storage in the rooms so may not be best for a week long + trip but for a weekend getaway isn’t an issue.
