Traditional hotel with the perfect location
We spend one night in Venice and chose this hotel because of its perfect location. It’s only 5 minutes walking to San Marco and 10 minutes to Rialto. Trip from the airport to hotel with vaporetto water bus was very long, it took about 1,5 hours but luckily the S. Zaccahria’s stop was close to the hotel. Hotel also offered their own transport which would have been faster but we found it very expensive (about 150 euros).
Hotel staff was very friendly and breakfast was nice also. Hotel building itself is very old so breakfast room is very tiny. We had a room at 4th level and it was nice and quiet. Room was decorated with traditional Venecian style and it was very spacious. Only bad thing in the room was that air-conditioning was very loud so we had troubles to sleep when it was on and if it was off it was too hot to sleep.
Hotel also has a luggage storage so we were able to leave our suitcase there while we were strolling around the city next day.
