Poor customer service
While our stay was generally good the customer service at the Lodge was very disappointing. On the day we checked out we accidentally forgot three jackets in the closet. Immediately on discovering this and only a few hours after we left we called the hotel and informed them of this and asked them to contact housekeeping and locate our jackets. We ultimately talked to four different people at the front desk over two days trying to locate our jackets, and then later left a review on the hotel's own review page, and still have not gotten any follow up or response to our request for assistance. Overall I was left with the impression that the hotel has no real policy to deal with this common occurrence and does not consider it to be a priority. I have stayed at a lot of places over the years and have never had such lack of service and follow through; normally in my experience the hotel will reach out to me and work to address the issue. For this reason we were left with a very poor impression of the hotel and its level of customer service.
