The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms (especially the bathroom) need attention. We tried 2 rooms, both had mold on the bathroom ceilings and around the tub
There was empty beer cans left in the trash, the phone was stuck to bedside table. No wipes to clean with (they were provided in another room at the hotel) No breakfast/No pool and didn’t find out until we checked in
The hotel was nice and clean, staff were friendly and helpful..... was disappointed that the breakfast bar was not open, it was one of the reasons we chose this location. This should have been on the websit. Overall a decent stay.
This place appeared to have not been cleaned since before Covid. The lobby stairs were disgusting. None of the employees wore masks (or apparently sanitized anything). The room was okay, but again, carpet was disgusting and TV didn’t work.
The first room had all types of bugs crawling on the walls and ceilings. The hotel was not clean at all. The switched my family of 4 to a smaller room with two double beds and my husband and I barely had room in them to roll over. Only one electrical plug worked so only one phone could be charged at a time and the heated pool was ice cold the heater was broken and smelled like mold. The shower you could tell in this new room had been used to I had to clean it before I had my kids use it. The only redeeming quality was the front desk person was nicer there was it should be a condemned hotel it was a mess never again!!!
The staff was friendly and the room was generally acceptable. A few items left us concerned. During times of COVID-19, staff were not wearing a face mask when interacting with us at check in. We felt the staff did not take our safety into consideration. The parking lot was full of litter, debris and glass. Very unsightly and left us concerned about the safety of our pets when trying to navigate through the trash. Finally, when we went to get the luggage rack, there was a pair of dirty socks on the floor. How clean was the rest of the room?
Great place to stay! check-in was smooth with very helpful staff. Room was very clean and bed comfortable. Some of the softest sheets I have ever had in a hotel!
Hello, This message is concerning a recent stay at the Sleep Inn in Austinburg, OH that was booked via Orbitz. I can, with full confidence, say that this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. This says a lot considering that I travel at least once a month and require a hotel. This mini-vacation happened to be my wife and I’s getaway for out 2-year wedding anniversary. It has been a very stressful year for us, more so than most due to the fact that our newborn son came down with a serious medical condition at 1 month old and was hospitalized for 6 weeks. As many can imagine, this getaway meant a lot to us and took more planning than expected. Upon check-in at the hotel, I was informed that we were being put into a two-queen room, even though on Orbitz I reserved a room that showed a King bed and a jacuzzi tub. This already upset us even though the person checking us in said they would move us into that room for out 2nd night of our stay. We accepted this and proceeded to our room. Once we settled down, I began to look for the remote which was nowhere to be found. I searched a few obvious places, including under the bed where I found a used condom. This immediately put my wife and I in a foul mood. I went straight to the front desk and was asked if I wanted it removed, as if I’d be okay with it staying there. The worker came in and was very rude about it. Complaining that she was “too big” to do this. Once she got it out from under the bed, she threw it and her glov
The room was dirty, didn’t appear to have been swept so naturally concerned if sheets were clean,etc. The bathroom door needed repaired The property is in need of total update / will not stay there again.
