This place looks nothing like the pictures. It's super sketchy. I knew I'd made a mistake in booking as soon as I pulled up.
The staff is weirdly unfriendly. When I checked in, the person at the front desk originally didn't charge me for parking. I was assigned a room on the first floor. I asked if there was anything on a higher floor for safety reasons. (Any woman traveling alone knows not to stay on the first floor.) After I requested a different room, the front desk person suddenly "remembered" to charge me for parking. He rolled his eyes and said, "Oops, I forgot." I don't mind paying for parking, but it was obvious he only charged me because I asked for a different room (which only required him to key a different card, 30 seconds after he did the first one).
The walls are paper thin, and there are people smoking and drinking in the parking lot 24/7. I got back from my show and knew I wouldn't be able to sleep there, so I packed up my things and drove the three hours home in the middle of the night. Oh well, lesson learned!
