Service not 5 stars after Covid-19 reopening
The hotel had just reopened after Covid-19. It is really a wonderful place but unfortunately service & atmosphere were not 5-stars during the first week after reopening. The service in the beach restaurant was slow and chaotic and the bill was incorrect every day for lunch and drinks. Also beware of little hidden costs here and there, they tend to forget to inform you about those. Breakfast buffet was understaffed and took a very long time to collect food from "buffet" where there was only 1-2 staff members handing out food from the counter, as you were not allowed to pick food yourself. Breakfast felt almost stressful instead of a relaxed and great start to your day. However, positive points about breakfast being served until noon! Spa was closed for renovation and also they were renovating 7th floor which caused a lot of noise. I am sure that after they are done with all renovations, it will be fabulous. The location of the hotel is really best in Cannes but you also pay a lot for it..
