I do not like writing negative reviews. Something positive reflects on the staff, they were pleasant and helpful. The room was a junior suite so it was spacious with a living room and bedroom, two large televisions, a working refrigerator and microwave. The hotel unexpectedly had a popular bar. I stayed in room 538 and I believe the hotel must address these negatives: some of the electrical outlets did not work in the bathroom, at the desk and the bedroom headboard. The carpet is old. It has gray dust throughout the perimeter of the room, quite visible. There is a slat wall that separates the bedroom and the living room and there’s an overwhelming amount of dust buildup, it’s quite visible from across the room and worse as you get closer to it. I don’t understand why housekeeping has not addressed that. The tub/shower floor, oh my, has built-up dirt. I actually purchased a bathmat for the shower to cover the dirt stains; when you stand in the shower the tub sinks beneath your footprint, very gross. I did have a four day stay at the hotel, therefore I used the washer and dryer which need to be wiped down as well as swapped out with new models. The hotel needs a teardown or a complete renovation. It brings down the Hilton value that I have associated with the Hilton brand. I’m sorry for the harsh but honest review.
