We were in Tucson for my son’s soccer tournament. We chose this hotel based on the reviews and the price. The good: we liked the location near restaurants and shops. Easy to get to the Kino Sports Complex. Beds were good except my husband didn’t like the pillows. It was quiet and felt safe. The not so good: The lady at the front desk when we checked in wasn’t very friendly, so it started out a little iffy. Also, on the website it says check in is at 4:00pm, but it is actually at 3:00pm. We got into town earlier and walked around shops to kill time because we thought we couldn’t check in until 4:00. No breakfast (which I knew when we booked). In room coffee was not good, but there’s a Starbucks down the street. Very outdated. Looks like they tried to do some upgrading but not so great job. The sofa was very uncomfortable and felt like we were going to fall through it ( and we’re not overweight). Just not comfortable at all. The desk chair was more comfortable so I sat in that. The bathroom is very small. And, I know this sounds weird, but the toilet paper holder is like built in the sink counter and just super awkward. It was clean, but old and worn, but nothing disgusting.
Overall, it was just okay. Not sure if we would stay there again. I think it’s worth paying a little more to stay at a chain.
