We arrived around 4:15 and were able to get into our room. The staff at the front desk were not as friendly as years past. It was almost like we were bothering them.
We arrived to our room, got settled and turned the heat down, since it was too warm. We then went to eat at the Red Lantern, restaurant on site. It was delicious. We returned to a still very warm room. We called the front desk and they sent maintenance up. He was able to fix it pretty quick and soon the room was bearable. This gentleman was very efficient and nice.
The room is deteriorating. The toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall, the hot water knob fell off twice while we were there, and they only had two towels for a double queen room. Overall, it was a place to sleep overnight for hockey games. I probably would not go there for any special occasion or special.
