Average Resort, You get what you paid for
1. Price was affordable for a budget friendly resort. Food and drinks were not included.
2. Poipu, Kappa, Princeville were all a short drive away. Therefore Lihue was a good middle location.
3. Swimming pool area was the second best part of the stay.
4. The easy access to the beach was the best part. One recommendation would be to clean the sand on a weekly basis. There was a lot of debris (burned wood, sharp rocks, etc) in the sand.
5. There were no fun activities and nothing really stood out.
6. The place could use some TLC.
a. Roof on shingles were outdated, not matching, and rusty.
b. Tiles need to be replaced in broken areas.
c. Some grassy areas were really muddy resembling quick sand like feeling.
d. Each room could’ve used some maintenance. We found ants and roaches in our room.
7. When checking in they charge you a self-parking fee per day. Most of the days we stayed, the parking area was free/nothing was guarded.
