Hotel Zero Degrees Danbury was basically in the middle of nowhere, but still only about two minutes drive from nearest Starbucks, and 10 minutes from a very large shopping mall. In the vicinity of the hotel there were actual sidewalks, so you could safely go for a walk starting from the hotel. Or they will arrange to take you to a nearby park/forest where there were plenty of trails. The hotel itself is very nice, very clean and modern. Room was huge, modern, clean, and very comfortable. Gym has lots of natural light, not hidden in a basement. Only complaint would be the bathroom which has some design problems - tap impossibly near the side of the sink making hand washing difficult, and shower has no hand held showerhead, only over head. And the room didn't seem to have much soundproofing, since I could hear televisions from both neighboring rooms and people talking in the hallway. Breakfast was surprisingly sufficient; not too much in terms of fresh produce, but you can make an almost healthy breakfast if you try. A variety of bagels, cream cheese, toast, boiled eggs, yogurt with berries and granola, instant oatmeal, and fruit.
