I generally enjoy sleeping in the cold, but the rooms in this hotel was freezing. There's no heating except for the aircon, which isn't powerful enough to combat the ice cold floor and the leaky windows, not to mention that the air it blows is itself cold. The end result is that you can barely get the room above 20c, and to stay even above that level you need to have aircon blasting at full speed... in the middle of the winter. I woke up with a runny nose and sore throat, freezing from head to toe. When I complained in the reception they sent a maintenance guy to the room, but he wasn't able to fix the problem. I don't think it's fixable unless the hotel invests in actual heating. I slept with two pullovers and t-shirt on and even that wasn't enough. Probably would help if they offered blankets instead of just a sheet.
Aside from the temperature issue this seemed like a nice place. Big rooms, nice and clean, good shower. I wouldn't recommend staying here in the winter, but this is probably a nice option in the summer.
