Although this motel had renovations done some while ago, the rooms still seem small and "cheap". (We stayed here before the change of owners, and renos.)
Yes, there are newer fixtures in the bathroom and newer furniture in the bedroom, it didn't feel like a boutique-style motel. The bedroom was over-crowded with furniture, yet felt cold and institutional-like with the cinder block walls. We were on the main level and didn't want to open the patio door for fresh air (it was very, very musty smelling) due to the questionable people lurking around the grounds.
The coffee/tea facilities were nice and Ruth at reception was GREAT. She was really friendly and had a wonderful, sunny smile.
