How to get here from the airport
Probably the fastest and the most convenient way to get here from the airport is taxi. The cost for one person and one piece of luggage was $19. If you are travelling on a budget you could take the bus. It will cost you $0.75 per bus, coins only! Go up to the second floor of the airport and there are two bus stops (Parada). Take #5 to Avenida De Diego antes Avenida Juan P. De León, walk down the street to Avenida Juan Ponce de Leon and jump on bus #3 or #21 to Avenida Juan Ponce de Leon esquina Avenida Fidalgo Diaz, walk one block and you can see the Hotel.
Location
It’s a bit on the further away from what I would consider the typical tourist places in San Juan. At night, the neighborhood might even seem a bit sketchy. The beach is a walking distance away. I recommend the bus if you want to go to Old San Juan. The bus stop is next to the hotel, other side of the main street. Take bus #3 or #21 to Terminal Covadonga (it’s the end station).
Staff
The staff is friendly and helpful.
Room
The room is very basic. It’s perfectly ok if you spend most of your time elsewhere and just come back to the hotel to shower and sleep. It’s cleaned every day.
The free Wi-Fi is reasonably fast. Free coffee at the lobby ‘til 10 am. Use of washing machine is $3.25 (30 min.) and dryer $2.00 (30 min.)
