Hotels are supposed to offer hospitality,
The check in was the start of the experience, self check in was far from a good start. Its bad enough self service in a supermarket, this is a hotel. The room was clean and recently refurbished to a good standard. I went down for dinner, and staff wise it seemed like the mary celeste. Eventually i was served, the drinks for a hotel were reasonably priced and tasted good.
The food menu is limited and far from what I expect from a hotel restaurant, but it did suffice.
Unfortunately my evening dragged out to around midnight due to the people in the next room being less than considerate. But the noise did eventually subdue. The breakfast in the morning was buffet style and to be fair it was good.
I stayed here a couple of years ago and returned because it had been good. I seriously doubt if I'll be returning anytime soon. It was a very mixed experience unfortunately the bad out weights the good
