Overprized disappointment
In the hotel's (***) brochure described as nostalgic, modernized and top-class atmosphere with luxurious rooms. Unfortunately, our experience is far from that.
Good things are: the room (#1) is spacious, bed comfortable, breakfast good but not awesome, wifi works fine, large free parking area next to the hotel and the staff is friendly.
Our room was facing the street Jernbadegade (5 m), railway station (20 m) and a bus depot (50 m). All those provide lots of noise that gets into the room. Public transport starts at 5:30 am, after that it's hard to sleep without earplugs. Blinds are so thin that they are transparent. Furniture is old and the floor is sloping, but those are minor issues besides the noise.
This was our sixth night on a trip to Denmark. Compared to other accommodations here we got the least quality at the highest room price. Can't really recommend this site to anyone.
