I chose this hotel because it was advertised as a 5-star property and the pictures looked beautiful. In reality, the hotel was very old and smelled unpleasant 2 STAR.. The check-in experience was horrible. After a long journey, I had to wait 15 minutes in line standing at a supposedly 5-star hotel just to check in. When I finally got to my room, it smelled of mold and urine.!!? I asked to change the room, and they offered to spray some air freshener instead!? Unbelievable. After arguing, I insisted on not staying in that room, and they eventually gave me another room that didn’t smell.
The hotel claims to be environmentally friendly, yet they use plastic bottles and straws along with many other odd things. When I wanted to go to the pool, I was shocked by the number of kids screaming and playing in the pool area like it was a children’s play zone. A 5-star hotel should have a separate area for kids away from adults. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I didn’t receive any refund or compensation, despite having the worst experience a customer can have at a 5-star hotel even i complained to the manager.
The service was so strange; the staff barely spoke English, and they seemed like they were in the wrong place—definitely not professional. The service was incredibly poor; for example, when I went to the bar with my friend, the staff seemed surprised that we wanted service,I meant that if someone works in the service industry, they should know how to behave.
