I had a short vacation in Stuttgart with my partner. We liked the hotel very much, especially the friendly staff.
Hotel was very clean and, at the time we stayed there, almost empty. The holiday season had just started on the area and people had travelled away from Stuttgart. Service was excellent and we loved the free coffee bar. Atmosphere at the lobby was wonderful, especially in the evenings.
Breakfast was very good too, lots of different kind of bread, cereals, warm food, cold cuts, yoghurt, fruits and berries, salads, juices, coffee, tea sorts, and sweet pastries but a bit expensive, because you can eat only certain amount of food at one time, so we ate it only once. It was nice to have breakfast out on the terrace facing the park behind the hotel.
We took drinks at the hotel bar one night and the service was superb there too.
The room was cosy, but the lack of air conditionig bothered us a bit. The air was heavy and damp in the mornings if the windows had been closed all nigth. Our room faced the street, so there was some noice from the trams (but the last one went ~ 1am) and also from the hotel bar terrace below us (no music, just peple talking and laughing) but it didn't bother us too much with the windows closed. Otherwise the area is very nice and quiet.
Bathroom was very clean and comfortable with bathtub, shower and lots of towels. Bathrobes by request, just call the reception. Bed was ok, not very good but not too bad eiter. Snacks in the room were overpriced, but the price for the room service was low and prices at the hotel restaurant reasonable. There was no minifridge in the room.
We used the free conference room to read e-mail, it worked well.
The U-train stop is right in front of the hotel and the trains go every 10 minutes on weekdays, so it was really easy to get there. It took about 15 minutes from the hotel to Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof. It was a really short trip compared to the quiet atmosphere and amicable service we got in return.
We warmly recommend this hotel!
