OK hostel in a very good location
Stayed in this hostel for 4 nights with a friend 6-10.9. The location is excellent, close to everywhere. The city view from 7th floor was nice and there was also a small balcony. The hotel personnel were helpful even though didn't speak much English. There were two vending machines in the "lobby": good Illy coffee, some drinks (even beer), candies etc. Plenty of breakfast places can be found near by.
The room was very basic, but OK, even though there were only 4 hangers in the wardrobe, no hooks to hang your stuff and only one chair.
Madrid was nice, but the service in most of the places was absolutely horrible or actually non existing. I've never experienced such behavior, but it has been a long and hot summer so maybe they were already fed up with clients and needed some vacation themselves:-)
