Too hot in the room
We booked a room a which should have had air conditioning. After first night we complained because it was too hot during the night. We were told that the hotel is still on the "winter mode" which means that there is only heating available and the system works in a way that there could be only heating or only cooling. They told us that they will change to cooling later. So after the first night we were told to shut down the heating. This didn't help at all and we complained again and this time we were told that the only option to cool the room is to keep the window open also during the night. So we did, but it is horrible to keep the window open because you can hear the highway very well and under our window is the loading dock of the grocery store which was busy also during the night.
It is not correct to mention about the AC in the room description if you can't use it. The staff didn't do anything about it. Only thing that they did was that they said that they are sorry. This doesn't help much when you have invested your time and money for the vacation in Barcelona but you can't sleep well during the nights.
