Can't recommend this hotel
When we arrived we were told that our reservation had not been received even though we had a booking confirmation from Hotels.com. The staff made us wait for a manager for an hour before letting us know if we could stay at the hotel. The manager didn't speak English but other staff translated the conversation. We were told that the hotel is full and the they could only accommodate us for the second night of our stay. The booked us a room of a hotel nearby and drove us there and back the next day and upgraded us for the one night that we stayed in their hotel. This whole mess took several hours from our vacation on two different days and we had to stay one night in a hotel that wasn't what we had chosen.
The hotel has a private beach but surprisingly we couldn't use it without paying an extra cost. There was also a shuttle service to the beach and back but when it was ordered for us by the staff it never came and we had to walk back to the hotel. The beach itself was very disappointing. The water is dirty and the beach is really small.
We also tried to use the hotel bikes. We made it half way to Porto San Paolo when one of the bikes broke and we had to walk back to the hotel. We reported this to the staff and the said they would take care of the broken tire but we saw another guest leaving with the bike next day and coming back later with the same problem.
The hotel itself is nice and most of the staff is friendly. The hotel restaurant was ok but a bit overpriced.
