Not worth the hassle.
The room was nice and cosy. The bed was really comfortable. However, it was not worth the chaos of checking in and out.
Even though I had a confirmation email, they could not find it either with my name or reservation number. I had to fill in another form with all my information and then was charged in spot. Total time of check in was around 25 minutes.
The check out seemed to be even more chaotic. There were between 10-15 people waiting to check out and only one receptionist. It would have been fine if we could have just done the “fast check out” and left our room cards in a box, but the paper in the box said “online check out - ask our receptionist”. I tried to look for information online, but couldn’t find, so we had to wait.
When it was our turn to check out, the receptionist informed the amount of our stay. I mentioned that I had paid at the check in. She said the payment did not go through (it did).
She, then, said she could charge again from the same credit card, as they had the information. I mentioned it was a debit card, just in case the information was important. She corrected me, saying it was a credit card.
Now, this is a minor and irrelevant thing, but at that point I was quite stressed with the whole situation.
In the end, she asked if I wanted the receipt. When I said yes, she asked me to write my email, even though I had given already at check in. She just said “sorry, we don’t have it”.
Well, not entirely happy with the experience…
