The staff here was wonderful! They were kind and very accommodating. They were willing to switch our room upon finding out the lock on the sliding door did not work. They also worked to get the breakfast room open when it was not open at the posted time.
The building had obvious signs of water damage on the walls and ceilings, poorly patched holes in walls, stained carpets, and the furniture in the lobby was very dirty/stained. The ice machines were taken out of most floors. The second floor hallway smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, but didn’t find that to be the case on the other floors.
The room itself appeared to have clean linens, and vacuumed floors, and the bathroom was clean. The carpets need to be shampooed, the furnishings need painted/repaired/updated, and there are not nearly enough outlets, as evidenced by the 6 outlet extender under the TV. The sliding glass door did not lock, but we did later find it had a metal bar to keep it shut.
The shuttle service to the airport doesn’t begin until 7:00 am so we were unable to use it, needing to leave around 6:00.
