It was not the best possible experience, as I had to wake up well before 4 a.m. to reach the airport on time.
I was initially given wrong room at the reception, which was quite inconvenient as the assigned room was already occupied. I understand that mistakes do happen, and I usually don't mind minor inconveniences, but other aspects of my experience were subpar.
In my new room, I noticed a peculiar odor, as if someone had been smoking there before. Moreover, the walls are quite thin, so all the sounds from the adjacent rooms and corridors can be easily heard within the room. During the evening and night, there was constant loud traffic in and out of the building. To make matters worse, someone triggered an alarm at 2 a.m.
I don't have the energy to list all of the various small details.
What I am particularly concerned about is the way the reception handles guests' passports. I truly hope that there are security guidelines regarding copies taken with a phone and that the said phone is under the control of the organization.
