When we arrived, the room and bathroom were very dirty. The sink and bathtub had very obviously not been cleaned from the previous person staying there, there were stains on the walls and bedsheets, and there was garbage (wrappers) left on the floor. We checked in around 2am after a long day of traveling, saw the state of the room, and within the hour went down to the lobby to request to cancel our stay as the room was very unsanitary. We were told that a refund could not be made and we could not check out until our original check out day (we had planned to stay 4 nights). Because it was so late, we slept just that night there and left early in the morning. We booked this stay through Hotels.com and even purchased the protection plan, yet we were STILL denied a refund. This is completely unacceptable, a refund for the unused nights should be processed at least.
DO NOT STAY AT VOYAGE HOTEL.
