Check in was quick and easy. We stayed on my husband’s birthday and I had advised the hotel. I didn’t expect any upgrade or freebies but an acknowledgment would have been good.
Room on 2nd floor was small, bed comfy. Showered hot, but pressure poor.
There is no air conditioning and on a hot day it would likely be unbearable. It was warm during our stay and we had to sleep
With the balcony door open. Not a problem at night, however during the day as the room is above the kitchen the smell of fried food was awful.
Breakfast was good, although not sure its value for money at £34pp.
Service was not so good, food dumped and no bread basket offered. All staff disappeared and there was no one’s attention we could attract. Eventually I got up and went to the reception desk to ask for the bread basket/toast we should have been offered.
Would I return? Probably not, there are plenty of other hotels in the area to try.
