Unfortunately, our stay at this property was not pleasant at all. As soon as we opened the door to our unit, a cockroach ran toward us, which was shocking and extremely unsettling. It was immediately clear there was a pest problem.
Throughout our stay, we dealt with small ants (“piss ants”) everywhere. Our muffins and bread were quickly covered with them, forcing us to throw away our food. The ants were also present in the bathroom, along with drain flies, which made the space feel unsanitary.
The couch was visibly dirty and stained. We were uncomfortable sitting on it because we were worried about bugs or contamination. To make matters worse, the bathtub had visible mold, which only added to the feeling that the unit had not been properly cleaned or maintained.
We arrived very late on the first night after a long drive and had a full schedule the next day, so we didn’t notice everything right away. However, when we returned after a long day and had to deal with pests and the unsanitary conditions, it made the experience even more exhausting and frustrating.
This was an awful experience, and I would not recommend this property unless significant improvements are made in cleanliness and pest control.
