EVERYTHING at Caesars Palace costs more than you think and you need to pay for EVERYTHING. Our $62 nightly "resort fee" on top of a $400+ per night room didn't include amenity kit (Q-tips, toothbrush, etc.). The food court doesn't provide cups for drinking water, so bring your own refillable cup. The cheapest bottle of water is $8.
The staff is nice, and the room OK (including comfortable pillows). It is just crazy expensive and doesn't really reflect hospitality.
Next year, we'll look for another property, off the Strip, that is more reasonably priced. Being on the strip wasn't really worth the expense.
