The toilet got blocked the first time we used it, the shower was broken and it took them half a day to fix it and as an interim we had to have a member of staff escort us to a spare room to use the bathroom, as their key system was broken!! Very embarrassing asking to use the loo. No room service, as they couldn’t take payment. Mugs were dirty and despite asking reception, they didn’t get replaced and so we
Washed them up using hand soap! The sink was so slow to empty that I ended up using my wife’s tweezers to clear a ball of hair, so that we could use the sink, but we even had to be careful using the sink as the tap made a noise like a fog horn each time we turned it on! (Video attached, which might seem funny, but wasn’t when you were trying to use the tap!)
And the worst thing was when we ran through all of this with the receptionist after she asked how the stay had been, she just smirked, said that was pretty unlucky and apologised that it “wasn’t the best experience”! We stay here each time we come back to the UK and the place has gone downhill to an unbelievable level and the problems seem to just amuse the reception staff.
