This hotel was amazing, we stayed only one night on our way through from the Sahara but it was so good we wish we had longer! It's a great location of calm and the local area is fascinating, you aren't on the tourist side of town so you get to see real people and their real lives, everyone we encountered in the street gave us a bonjour and tried to engage us in pleasantries. The food was really tasty and the man running the place during our stay was attentive, kind and worked really hard to make sure we had a good time. The hut we stayed in was amazing, decorated with traditional berber instruments and symbols and was so spacious. The bathroom was incredible (we are a couple so the lack of a door was ok but there were space for 4 people in the room so something to bear in mind if you aren't so close! it is private but separated by a wall as opposed to a door) Overall just amazing, they even had a peacock walking around the grounds, someone tending to the crops and the garden and recycle bins (the only ones in all of Morocco we saw!) we even had corn growing outside our hut. We really loved this place!!
If you're a cat lover you'll see lots of strays in the area so make sure you take some cheap cat food from the supermarket and make some new friends during your stay at this wonderful place!
