I was not disappointed with my choice to stay at Julliette. Everyone, from Marlen to Alvaro, was very friendly. My room was large and clean with a fridge, microwave, and stove. The bed was very comfortable with a firm mattress, which I like. Breakfast had good fruit, coffee, juice, and eggs cooked to order. There were many restaurant choices nearby, also an Exito grocery store.
When you leave your room, you leave your key at the reception area and pick it up upon your return. You also have to ring the bell on the outside gate for entry and have someone inside "buzz" you out.. This is not a big deal, it's good that they have this security. There is construction nearby during the day so I suggest bringing ear plugs if you like to sleep in.
Speaking some Spanish will go a long way, although the owner does speak English well.
I would stay here again.
