We were welcomed by a really helpful gentleman from the staff. We were quite early but rooms were luckily ready soon, before noon.
The house is a typical old English house with narrow staircases. The hotel seemed to be renovated lately, it looked so fresh and clean. The rooms were bigger than expected, space for luggage to open on the floor. There is a coffee machine in the lobby, where you can get free coffee or hot water anytime. Hotel also provides complimentary still water bottles on the lobby table for quests. The shower was a bit tricky to use as first water was cold and then very quickly it changed from warm to hot. Closing it for a minute helped for for a minute. The breakfast room is quite small and often very full, but we always got a table anyway. Juices, joghurt, cerials, butter, honey, cheese etc were available on the table and from the staff you could order e.g. coffee/tea, toast, bacon, sausages and eggs.
Free Wifi reached the rooms also. Location is convenient with nice neighborhood and close to Victoria Station. We recommend this excellent hotel to anyone who can manage narrow stairs with luggages.
