This was the worst stay I’ve ever had, stressful from start to finish.
The room we got the 1st day was not ready to host guests. There was no extra bed, no hot water, exposed wires, broken furniture. After a 30+ hour journey, 3 of us had to sleep in one double bed, I barely slept, and had to shower twice with cold water.
The next day we got moved to another room which would accommodate the 3 of us but even after the move, reported issues with the bed and lighting were never fixed. As a result I injured my back which i’m still having issues with after a week.
There were no basic supplies i.e. broom or bin bags to maintain hygiene.
Communication throughout the stay was extremely poor. Messages were often ignored, and I was never given a phone number to speak to someone directly. We were offered a room refresh, which we appreciated and accepted, but no one ever showed up. On our last day, we woke up with no water at all. There was no prior notice, no timeline, and no solution until we spent hours chasing for updates all the while having to use our drinking water to flush the toilet and wash ourselves.
When a temporary shower at another property was finally offered, it was handled in an unsafe and unprofessional way, with no clear communication about who’d pick us up or when. When we arrived 2 unidentified men were outside the room we were supposed to shower in, which as a woman made me feel unsafe. Overall the property was not ready to host, poorly managed. I DON’T RECOMMEND.
