Great old school route 66 motel. No frills but very comfortable and clean. Welcoming to pets ( just let them know) and the owner (Ron) is very nice and helpful. Not as many amenities but you are staying in a bit of history on Route 66 in Grants NM. Would definately stop there again!

My stay at Southwest Motel was fantastic! The room was clean and the couple managing the property (who checked me in) are super nice, kind, and helpful. It was an added bonus staying in a classic, retro, iconic Historic Route 66 motel! I would definitely recommend staying here.
