Me and my friend decided to visit Barcelona probably when it's the fulliest of tourists but since the hostel was quiet and small (not where all the tourists are) , the full experience of our stay was just great! It's located just few hundred meters away from the subway and some nice attractions you can visit just by foot. You can find grocery stores, pharmacies, bakeries, restaurants, cafes and even beauty spas only few minutes away (and spend less money for them compared to the most popular areas in the city).
Th hostel itself was nice and clean. Staff was really helpful and spoke good English. If you could, I recommend you to upgrade your room to one with your own balcony and bathroom and you feel staying more like in a hotel. Earplugs might be useful since the traffic is busy even at night.
If you're a budget traveler but don't feel like staying in a big, crowded hostels with mixed dormitories then this is your place! Few euros more for the night is worth of money for having a nice, relaxing stay in busy Barcelona.
