Excellent location, Helpful staff, would recommend a room with a terrace as it’s worth it. Quiet at night despite being on a busy street. Would definitely go back again. The hotel is in a very good central location. It is a smaller boutique hotel rooms are clean they have lockers to store your luggage before check-in and a scale to weigh your luggage which was convenient. The bed is hard as a rock and the pillows are hard as a rock, but the other amenities in the room are good.

The room was large with a very spacious private furnished balcony overlooking the Palau Guell rooftop and a wonderful view towards the harbour and Mediterranean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite substantial and well worth the cost. The main walking street and metro were just around the corner as were the Madrid Real and and Barcelona FC official fan shops. I highly recommend this hotel for your visit to Barcelona.

I would return to The Hotel Gaudi again in the near future and definitely, once La Rambla construction was completed. Having breakfast looking at Antoni Guadi’s “Palau Guell” directly across the street really started my mornings in awe and in-turn, inspired my daily adventures of architectural wonderment. The Hotel Gaudi’s location to La Rambla, the waterfront area and a plethora of restaurants made it an ideal spot to explore from. It’s proximity to a laundromat, market and incredible hidden coffee/pastry shop made my time feel like I was in a neighborhood. The staff was ALWAYS so helpful and engaging especially, if you took the time to talk with them. Sending a “Big Shout Out” to Carmen and her twin Susana, Nini, Mariana and Nana for helping me in small but meaningful ways during my stay. Unfortunately, the construction that continues on La Rambla makes getting around the area very congested at times and hailing a taxi to the hotel can be a little dicey depending on certain traffic times into the area. If you get dropped off along the waterfront section of La Rambla, it can make taxi life easier and walking the few blocks gives you more of an opportunities to see small gems along the way! Feedback that I would give the hotel is that using a key for the room lock box located in the closet, made me nervous especially, when one day the bags around the lock box were not how I left them and yet, I believe that nothing of significant value was missing.
