Great central location near museums, opera, and shopping.
Friendly and helpful staff.
I had a nice, spacious room on the 4th floor overlooking the courtyard, with a seating area. Everything was well-designed and elegant and in good condition.
Comfortable bed and good linens, but the pillows were filled with some sort of synthetic fluff rather than feathers (which I prefer).
The street is mostly pedestrian (except for cabs), so there was no traffic noise, even with the window open. Very little noise from other rooms.
The main negative was the "desk" -- a narrow shelf attached to the wall. The "chair" was a soft stool with no back, far too low for working comfortably on a laptop; I had to heap pillows on it. The lamp provided was decorative and not suitable for working.
Also, the makeup mirror in the bathroom wasn't in a good location or adjustable.
The elevator is very tiny, with room for just one person and a full-sized suitcase; not a problem, just something to be aware of.
